Our Story

"After the war, the vineyards were left in ruins. The fields that are green today, they used to burn every year."

In a hidden valley overlooking the cobalt Mediterranean Sea lies a sleepy village where the vineyards once laced the mountainside. For generations, people there had everything they could ask for, and even more. But one summer day, war blotted out the sun and their idyllic world fell to ruin.

Fast forward seventeen years when one of its native sons returned home with his young family, determined to call those vineyards back to life. Terrace by terrace, the mountain was reclaimed by the noble grape varieties, which in time offered fruit worthy of world-class wines. A new life force energized the community.

We practice traditional low-yield, dry farming practices, utilizing organic agriculture without any pesticides or herbicides. We prioritize water management and utilize fermented manure from vine cuttings as organic fertilizer.

We promote biodiversity to create a natural symbiosis supporting insects, bacteria, flora, and fauna.

Great wine to pair with meat dishes.

Almost black in color, a nose of almonds at first but after airing opened up to turf, tobacco and leather. Well integrated oak! Still rich in tannins after 12 years, a palate of herbs and spices, black pepper. Complex over all and potential to age further. Full body, high on alcohol and long finish.

Lebanese cedar, resin, coffee, sour cherry, ripe pomegranate, spices, cinnamon. Changes beautifully as it breathes. Alive tannins and alive high acidity. A very nice wine. A classy Lebanese!

Mature and full bodied, with lively tannins and bracing acidity holding together a remarkable richness of fruit. Plum and prune, black currant, smoke, tobacco, earth. Great pairing with meat-based Mediterranean food.

Here we have notes as tar, moss, blackberry, cedar wood, cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, licorice, wet tobacco, vanilla and tea leaves.

Body: full
